refer to #75 for trunk sizing / placement

draw tree trunk and branches

per conversation with Gissoo: let's try just drawing the branches first and not worry about connecting the leaves to the branches, since that will be more complicated to calculate and may not be as visually important


  • update from develop once panel / container sizing has been completed
  • export an svg for Gissoo to experiment with
