Description of the app's functionality

this is an identity app which some banking systems need (e.g. VDK, or Argenta). But it is also popular to login to governmental services (e.g. file your tax returns)

works:

1. linking your app to your identity via a cardreader and your belgian ID-card
2. authenticating yourself through this app on compatible bank accounts

what doesn't work:

1. push notifications don't work (I have to open the app manually)
2. in the last months, I've received an error twice that my device is rooted/modified, and therefore the app refuses to work. I had to clear storage + cache of the app and re-authenticate myself. Afterwards it worked again. I'm not sure why exactly (either an upgrade of the app, or an upgrade of GrapheneOS).

just wanted to add, that if itsme stops working after a system update, or an app update (warning that the device is rooted/modified), the solution which worked so far over multiple system updates was to install itsme from the sandboxed google play store in a separate user profile. Before, I had itsme installed via aurora on my main profile. Maybe it's not related, but maybe it is.
