Are there any extra notes you think users should know about?

The Norisbank app works when installed through Play Store. Installing from Aurora can lead to an app which is directly crashing upon app start.

Aurora is giving me trouble at the minute, but installed through the play store I could not reproduce this - the app opens just fine on my end with all security features set to default. It seems like play integrity is tripped or they check with other means as a warning is shown saying that they "detected a change in the Android operating system" and "security features of the operating system can be compromised". That doesn't seem to affect usability though, can just continue and move on with your day.

Dude, you are awesome. Thank you very much @spring-onion I didn't even think of installing via Google Play because on my LineageOS phone it also has worked when installed from Aurora Store.

Now, installed through the Play Store, it works even without native code debugging and without the exploit compatibility mode. Logging in, retrieving balance, etc. works as usual. Should I update the initial post?

You're welcome! Good good I'll add it then. You could check if Aurora is spoofing your device model, it's possible it handed you an incompatible version. If that doesn't get you anywhere yeah feel free to update your post.

In regards to the other bank you mentioned, I haven't looked into it yet but could the problem you're facing there be identical to the one here?

I checked and Aurora used the default profile for my smartphone. So I assumed that's not the problem with installing through Aurora?

I updated the post accordingly!

Concerning Deutsche Bank, there have been two issues created for it; officially it is listed as compatible:

It could maybe make sense to change the initial post of the former issue to include that it only works when installed through Play Store. I guess the issue template added the questions for the installed store later on...

Apps can also detect where they were installed from, so maybe that's why it refuses to run. Which would be strange since it knowingly lets you pass with everything else. But hey, I don't mind!

Yes this is important to note.

I guess the issue template added the questions for the installed store later on...

Indeed.
