Get the extension on the chrome web store #576
Comments
it already was, but it got taken down. |
Yeah, I know. Last time it was DMCA'd, so what if we don't include screenshots of Prodigy, or the name "Prodigy"? What about "PHEx"? |
I agree. |
yes |
the word "prodigy" itself cant be trademarked or copyrighted (common word, only "prodigy game" or "prodigy math" could be trademarked/copyrighted) so what if we used the PMGH logo and no screenshots and call it "PHEx - Prodigy Exploit" |
It's a lot easier for prodigy to get at us on the google store, than github. |
and having no screenshots will make it look sketchy as all get out |
but there can be screenshots on the github and we can tell them to join the discord to ask questions the extension is just an easier way to download hacks than installing the zip file from github |
but we can give them less to complain about |
doesn't matter, we're not expecting downloads from there anyways |
actually, I think it would be really nice if someone could screenshot a bunch of the highlights of the cheat menu, or make a list of cheats. |
^^^ |
yeah we can do that but just no prodigy screenshots |
ok its loyer safe™ |
ok its dck's bad grammar safe™ |
made the code unugly |
I wish there was 1 for mobile
|
|
@PatheticMustan could you show me a screenshot of the DMCA request on the chrome extension I need to know what they complained about |
#368, it should be fine if we don't include the name Prodigy, nor screenshots. |
You don't have to upload it, I got it |
Ah shit, alright |
yes just wait on google's crappy customer service lmao |
@PatheticMustan i'm removing the one you submitted. Well, atleast try to. |
it's prob gonna be declined for being a duplicate |
yes. |
I love how google is basically one of the biggest companies in the world but still takes days to transfer a single extension. |
they responded to my last ticket in like 2 days |
they can take up to 3 weeks though |
I mean, same with microsoft. 4 days and still nothing |
its probs because we submitted it on the weekend |
i mean like how can you be so understaffed to take this long. You can blow like more than 1 billion dollars on a failed phone that lasted for 4 months but you can't manage to review a SINGLE extension |
well they have to go through all the code and everything of each extension google has a couple hundred thousand employees i wouldnt say they're understaffed just more lazy |
nah i submitted it like last thursday or friday |
o well still thats just like 2-3 work days |
Google has legit no way to cancel an extension's review but the support person said they suggested it to the dev team |
I was talking about microsoft. They spent 1 billion on the kin |
oo i see |
mozilla takes a few hours to a day to review extensions and they've got 1,000 employees. AND they're nonprofit. |
ah lmao |
I mean I understand google they've got thousands of requests every day but nobody's rushing to put an extension on the edge store. There isn't really much excuse for microsoft except for covid. It would probably still be the same turnaround time with or without covid. |
yes edge is such a dead browser nobody's putting extensions on edge |
only people that use edge is A. the people that don't know how to install another browser or B. kids trying to get around restrictions on chrome. |
or my mom who doesnt like chrome because she hates google and apparently microsoft is somehow better |
no i already published it stop publishing duplicates i've already told google to transfer mine to you |
chill we removed it |
ok |
Just a side todo I want to do, since I've never published an extension before.
