There's not enough space in the navbar for all the links we'd like (eg we're missing the shop).

We should come up with a better solution!

We should replace the "Schedule" link with a "What's on?" link, which when hovered over gives you a dropdown that includes:

  • Schedule
  • PyData
  • Teachers
  • Young people
  • Socials

We should also, if possible, add a "Shop" link to the navbar. At the moment, if you add another link, the links no longer fit onto one line.

@hawkz Are you able to look at this?

@inglesp are there others beyond this I should plan for?

@hawkz there could be "late breaking" changes which, as we get closer to the conference, will need a fast turnaround as stuff develops.

You know, as in Donald Rumsfeld's famous "unknown unknowns". ;-)

To be clear, this comment is a "known unknown". You're probably thinking a "known known" right now of, "bugger, this stuff is never finished". :-P

@hawkz Good question -- how about instead of having a "Shop" link, you have a "More..." dropdown, which for the time being only links to the shop, but which we could add things to as we need.

@inglesp would you be happy with priority based navigation (https://codepen.io/bradfrost/pen/orJwL) something that folds everything else into 'more' based on screen width?

If you think that'd work, then go for it!

@hawkz Will you get the chance to look at this in the next couple of days? If you can't, can you suggest somebody else who might be able to?
