Import via tray right-click menu #558
Comments
By the way, allowing users to select nodes from the tray menu would be a good idea as well. |
I can find a bunch of similar applications for Windows and mobile systems, but could you recommend me one that works on Linux :-). Qv2ray is so far the only cross-platform and free GUI client that supports three major anti-censorship protocols. As a Linux user, I express all my appreciation to the contributors. However, I could still imagine that you must have run into some troubles with Qv2ray's UI which might not be intuitive and friendly enough for ordinary users. That is why this issued was created, it's for feature requests and improvements, welcoming friendly discussions and suggestions, but not your aggressively pointless complaints. |
Never mind, @idnsunset BTW I'm currently working on this issue. Hopefully, you can see it in v2.6 |
Thanks for your continuous contributions and wish best luck to you all! |
I've been using couple of desktop clients for ssr and v2ray, they all support importing by right clicking the system tray and selecting an entry in the pop-up menu labeled like "import from clipboard". This feature is quite convenient as I don't have to open the main window and click several buttons to import shared links. I really hope this feature can be added in the next release. Moreover, I think it would be reasonable to put more shortcuts in the tray menu for some frequently used features.
