Description

The main goal of Matter is to develop a standard which defines a unique way how Smart-Home devices communicate with each other, even across different brands.
Another promise is that it also simplifies the development process and enables developers to create their own devices due to the open standard. That's why I'm convinced that it would be great to have a module in RIOT OS, so developers can use it to develop their own Smart-Home devices, which can then be used with other Matter-compatible products.

I want to write my Bachelor Thesis about this topic: "Porting the Matter Standard to RIOT OS".
That's why I would like to work on this issue by myself. So far I haven't seen or heard from anyone who is already working on this project, so I'm glad to start with it. :)
