6 digit Maidenhead Locator needed

I went into the thirdparty library and changed the default length of the loc buffer.

I would like to use the 6 digit locator with its 2.3 mile resolution (at 42 N latitude)

Might you please suggest the simple modification to get this supported? 4 digit works perfectly. I need more resolution for my Multiple STEM Students at the Chatham-Marconi Museum classes on Cape Cod.
