At present, Github Pages doesn't support SSL for custom domains. There is a way to get Full SSL (not Strict) using CloudFlare, but I'm not sure if this is what we're aiming for. I found a relevant issue requesting this feature and a recent comment that summarises the current state of affairs. @placek Thoughts?
