Version 1.1 VFKaps for VentureFarther Satellite Charts
Country anchorage markers have working links to the markers on theVentureFarther website. This provides more detail about those anchorages.
New satellite charts are automatically included in the chart database for both 32bit and 64 bit Windows. No manual updating should be needed.
Translations are included, for working in different languages. (Tools->User Interface->Language)

BETA v0.6: Includes VF Anchorage Charts
To assist VF users anchorage charts can now be downloaded from within OpenCPN.
Changes:
#1 Country list appears on marker page selection.
#2 Multikap has a grid of nine boxes.
#3 Waypoints added for country marker charts.
#4 Warnings if no Internet connection.
#5 Ability to select several anchorage markers. With 'Clear All' if needed.
#6 No need to select multi-kap in preferences
BETA - Major Update
Changes:
#1. Uses zip format for downloads to improve speed.
#2. Ability to download surrounding charts as well as the selected area.
#3. 64bit Windows problem still needs to be resolved.
#4. Option to delete the last file(s) downloaded. Allows changing satellite source for the charts.
#5. Area for selection better highlighted.
#6. Surrounding charts cannot be downloaded if zoom level less than 12 i.e. very small scale.
#7. Direction arrows to move to adjoining area for download. May not work on Linux.
NOTE: Press 'O' to release the box.
#8. Selection box changes in size to reflect size of satchart that will be downloaded.
TODO: Extensive testing on Linux.
BETA No automatic chart DB update for 64 bit systems
On 64 bit systems there have been problems with the automatic chart database update. Now removed for those systems, with a message advising such users to manually update.
Logging has now been added for the Win 32bit plugin binaries.
Beta - Corrected Linux directory selection. Chart update automatic.
#1 Problem with Linux kap directory resolved. Now saved between Linux OpenCPN sessions. Not very neat display of the directory in the preferences window.
#2 Chart database is updated after a chart download without user intervention. Two defines had been missed out:

INSTALLS_PLUGIN_CHART_GL
Beta version. Updated for large chart databases
Only satellite charts downloaded are added to the chart database. There is no general chart database update.
You may need to use toolbox->Charts->Scan Charts and Update Database and 'Apply' to see the new satellite charts you downloaded.
This is to try and fix the problem that users with a large portfolio of satellite charts have experienced.
