At the moment, the new version does not display the main QuickFolders toolbar in single message tab. Expected behavior is that its visibility is controlled via the General setting "Hide QuickFolders in single message tabs"
It can be made visible in the single message tab through the main action button:
Also, when the main toolbar is active, clicking another folder seems to switch to that folder, but the navigation continues within the (original) current folder. This should probably be changed as the expectation is that we switch all navigation into the current folder.

Fixed version below. This follows the setting "Hide QuickFolders in Single Message tab", when a new tab (folder or message tab) is created. It also remembers if the user chooses to toggle visibility on the tab and remembers this during the session. However, when Thunderbird is restarted it will still return to the default status (as defined in settings). I might add this to the tab session store along with the QuickFolders category later.
Added Tab Session storage. This requires Thunderbird 115.0.1 as minimum version. So the toolbars will remember their status now. I might improve this by not doing this on the first tab (there may be an expectation for a restart to return the first tab to its default state, otherwise there may be a lot of support traffic due to a missing toolbar if somebody not familiar with it pushed the button accidentally and doesn't know how to get back the Toolbar??)
