Folks,

I am seriously considering closing the repository.

Unfortunately it is not making any money and there is no point for me on working on open source if it does not pay.

Feel free to fork it now or download the source code.

It is been a very interesting project but it is clear that people don't want to pay for it.

Cheers,
Simone

Maybe we could incorporate into another project? Main redis? Sql databases?
I’m not using redisql, but it’s a nice possibility to use it with others tools, maybe percona guys? They support mysql/mongo

I don't believe those people are interested :)

@siscia maybe we are missing something here. How about creating an useful project using redisSQL. All it needs a bit of attention.

We need to showcase a demo

I was looking for something like this for 1 year. This is awesome tool for trading and betting .
Just found it day ago :) .
Problem is that it's very hard to find .
I think you will need to add some keywords .
Like "in memory sql", "streaming database' ... .

@Vahanerevan thanks for your words.

How do I reach these communities? Is there any particular website or subreddit or forum to get in touch with them?

I guess this project has stalled since this thread, and that is unfortunate, cause this seems to be a very good tool for us; we just found out about it.

Could @siscia confirm or deny that the project is dead (EOL), and no longer maintained?

The project keep working.

I am actually working on V2, not sure it will be open source thought. V2 will bring a more pleasant API mostly.
V2.something maybe will bring integration between triggers and streams. (Which it is super exiting but rather difficult work!)

If you open an issue or a PR I will definitely take care of it.

Most of the problem is monetary ;-)

Thanks for a quick reply!

And yes, I understand the necessity to have economy in the project. I think this is a great thing you built, I just bought the small version and testing it out a bit. So far, I like what I am seeing. No problem paying 50 EUR for Pro-version.

If you are interested, I can get back to you with feedback if this will work for me, or if it wont, but I still have some testing to do.

I dont see anything about indexes on columns though, does that work as normal in SQlite?

The more feedback I get, the better. Negative feedback is even more appreciated of positive one.

With the PRO version you buy access to my expertise and a slightly better product, no telemetric.

Yes, the SQL backend it provided by SQLite, so everything that apply to SQLite, it applies to RediSQL, including indexes.

You should also have access to my "corporate" email simone@redbeardlab.com , feel free to reach me there as well.

Thanks a lot, I will continue some testing and get back to you on that email, if that is preferred.
