I haven't yet spent the time to figure out exactly what the cause is, but it appears that if the root part of a craft doesn't either have a signal processor module (but it exists elsewhere on the craft) or if it has a signal processor module, but not a command module (but again, command module exists on another part) that the probe will show as connected, but will be uncontrollable.

There's some discussion of the issue here: http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalAcademy/comments/2ats3r/remotetech_2_troubleshooting/

I'll try and do some further testing this weekend to find out exactly the necessary combination of modules on/off the root part is to cause the issue.

Duplicate of #76. This will be fixed in the next release. If you like, try playing with one of the pre-release builds (use at your own risk; https://github.com/RemoteTechnologiesGroup/RemoteTech/releases/tag/build-develop-32) for now.

Sorry about that. I looked through recent past issues, but apparently I didn't look back far enough.
