You can change the forground color and background color using the above was.
To find the color you want you can use a color picker.
RGB color expressed as number from 0-255.
There are 147 color names supported by the browser.
in (rgba) color let you choose opacity.
CSS let you choose also:

Hue
saturation
lightness

You can use HSL color property to select colors, by entering (hue, saturation and lightness) values.
contrast high , contrast low, contrast medium
