I don't see it mentioned in the change log—can you point me to this feature? Thanks. |
Sorry if I'm missing something, but does that preview show if releasing the mouse button will result in moving, referencing, or embedding the block? If it does, it's not clear to me how. |
It does show the end result of a move - I'm unaware of how you do a reference/embed with the mouse to begin with |
My OP title was a bit misleading, but the text description says what I mean: I don't want to just preview the outcome of the text that will be placed, but also the know the effect on the text being put there (whether it will be removed, in the case of a cut/move, or whether it will remain, in the case of a copy). I'm thinking of Windows file explorer where it has a pop-up saying whether a file will be copied or moved to another folder. The copy vs reference vs move is done with a drag and drop, with move being just drag and drop and the others being drag and drop while holding a modifier key. |
When you are dragging and dropping a block, add a tooltip to show if releasing the mouse button will result in moving, referencing, or embedding the block (and whether the embed is with or without child blocks).
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
