1.1.0 Planned features

1.1.0 is currently being developed on the dev branch. I am hoping to have it out sometime this week : https://github.com/JamieLottering/DropKick/tree/dev

Planned improvements / features:

• Typeahead lookup: Will search for items in a list as you type and select ones that match the entered keys
• Improved API: Allow overwriting of the open/close animations. Get notified when a DropKick is created, etc
• Optgroup support
• Escape key support
• Add click focus support
• Other performance / bug fixes

Hi,

I would suggest an HTML overide function or some way to have control of the layout.

For example it's very interesting adding images into the select button, like here for ex - http://demo.tutorialzine.com/2011/02/converting-jquery-code-plugin/

Thanks for the suggestion adancer. I'm not quite sure I want to turn it into something that is completely customizable so it can stay lean and simple, but I can definitely see that being useful
