Exclude test files from compiled app package

We have spec files in our app project which were being compiled into the deployed version of the app which the server was rejecting.

AFAIK test files shouldn't ever need to go to the server?

This issue regressed with the introduction of the separate compiler module. I raised a defect on the compiler package more than 6 months ago but but it's actually getting worse. With prior versions I could at least move my tests into a hidden .tests directory. With v1.10.1 even that workaround doesn't help.
