With reference to #42.

Particularly occurs with N64Digital and quite noticable in F-Zero X on Player 1.

This is due to some high frequency noise getting onto the data lines. Likely due to the wire that gets soldered to the PIF chip as part of these HDMI mod installs.

Few users including myself have reported success by adding a 10pF or 100pF capactor between the Player 1 data line and GND. For extra noise immunity you can also add this to the other data lines.
