Drop down lists in the big map not working correctly

The drop down list entries in the big map don't work correctly.

The buttons highlight on mouse over. The buttons open the drop down lists when clicked and the options in the drop down lists are highlighted on mouse over. The highlight even changes color when you press the mouse button. You can even use the mouse wheel to scroll the list.

But nothing happens when I actually click the option in the drop down list.

So I can't change projection, map type or the body at all.

KSP version 1.12, scan sat version 20.4

The similar drop down lists in the zoom map don't work either.
