I believe this is what the ticket is about:
Currently, at least on RHEL 6, sssd is started after ntpd. So on a system with bad hwclock, sssd has wrong time and Kerberos does not work.
NTP should be started before SSSD so that SSSD would have correct clock.
Current priorities on RHEL6: S13sssd S58ntpd
