Cloned from Pagure issue: https://pagure.io/SSSD/sssd/issue/3578

When I log in on my F27 system I see 4 AS requests sent to the KDC.
2 as I type enter after ntering my user name.
Then again 2 as the password is entered.

I understand that we intentionally send one AS request to fetch preauth info, but this should cause us to see only 2 AS reqs in total, not 4. Something is causing us to send duplicate requests.

Given that we are unable to fulfill this request I am closing the issue as wontfix.

If the issue still persist on recent SSSD you can request re-consideration of this decision by reopening this issue. Please provide additional technical details about its importance to you.

Thank you for understanding.
