[reported by blelbach] [Trac time Thu Aug 11 22:57:05 2011] The parcel subsystem doesn't fully resolve domain names (e.g. perseus.cct.lsu.edu) to IP addresses. This /does/ work for the old AGAS v1 networking code.

[comment by hkaiser] [Trac time Mon Sep 12 23:06:20 2011] This is not needed anymore as hpx::init now resolves all hostnames to ip-addresses before passing them to the HPX core library.
