This may be a group of features:

  • An automated check of health: Can new competitors, races, series and regattas be created?
  • Display the health check results. Maybe only to logged in users.

Automated check is probably easiest to skip UI: try POST'ing some pre-configured data. Add UI checks as a secondary feature.

Health check should log results for the display of current health.
