  This notebooks is used to develope and test a function that will calulate the depth average of a model variable.

  This notebooks shows how to use the tmask from mesh_mask.nc file to mask variables.

  It also compared the timing of using tmask vs searching for zeros.

  This notebook looks at the vertical eddy viscosity/diffusivity during a deep water renewal event in late August 2003.

  This is a 10 day simulation with daily averaged output.

  I've noticed in some places that the model bathymetry in Boundary Pass doesn't seem to match with reality.

  Is this a consistent error or is it just a discrepancy with the closest model grid point? I will investigate by looking at the bathymetry near the observations points as well.
