It also compared the timing of using tmask vs searching for zeros.
-

-
This notebook runs a comparison between the
$\nu=200$ and$\nu=50$ simulations by Doug. The focus is on currents and tracers.

##[NEMO depths vs bathymetry file.ipynb](http://nbviewer.ipython.org/urls/bitbucket.org/salishsea/analysis/raw/tip/Nancy/NEMO depths vs bathymetry file.ipynb)
This notebook compares the NEMO bottom w-depth to the depth specified in the bathymetry file. We speculate that NEMO somehow shallows out the bathymetry.
-
##[Playing with coastline data.ipynb](http://nbviewer.ipython.org/urls/bitbucket.org/salishsea/analysis/raw/tip/Nancy/Playing with coastline data.ipynb)
Figuring out how to fill the land colour with Rich's coastline data.
-
##[Seymour Narrows.ipynb](http://nbviewer.ipython.org/urls/bitbucket.org/salishsea/analysis/raw/tip/Nancy/Seymour Narrows.ipynb)
-
Just a quick notebook to play around with interpolating CGRF data into our grid.
-
An analysis of the open boundary conditions at the north.
-
Comparing merge-tests on Salish and Japser. A week long run to see how the differences evolve.
-
##[Eddy viscosity.ipynb](http://nbviewer.ipython.org/urls/bitbucket.org/salishsea/analysis/raw/tip/Nancy/Eddy viscosity.ipynb)
This notebook looks at the vertical eddy viscosity/diffusivity during a deep water renewal event in late August 2003.
This is a 10 day simulation with daily averaged output.
-
##[Boundary Pass bathymetry.ipynb](http://nbviewer.ipython.org/urls/bitbucket.org/salishsea/analysis/raw/tip/Nancy/Boundary Pass bathymetry.ipynb)
I've noticed in some places that the model bathymetry in Boundary Pass doesn't seem to match with reality.
See these two notebooks:
- http://nbviewer.ipython.org/urls/bitbucket.org/salishsea/analysis/raw/tip/Nancy/strat/comparisons/Fall%202014%20IOS%20data.ipynb
Is this a consistent error or is it just a discrepancy with the closest model grid point? I will investigate by looking at the bathymetry near the observations points as well.
