Is this crash report showing that growl is the cause of my system crashing? If yes, do I remove growl? How? #628

Everytime I create a new project in the latest Xcode (5.1.1) my entire system
crashes and reboots. I find the attached log that appears to indicate that
growl is the cause of the crash? Am I interpreting this correctly? How do I
fix? Do I remove growl? How?

Thanks

You have an old old old version of Growl installed, 1.1.6. You could try
updating first. We definitely do not support any 1.1.x, much less 1.2.2 on
10.9.x, but you can try at least updating to 1.2.2.

Something to look at on any crash report is the version of whatever crashed to
make sure it's up to date, and also what thread crashed as well. :)

Also, do you have any xcode plugins installed? Perhaps those require Growl and
the really old version is causing you issues.
