So with my setup, Surface tablet with Virtual cable and processing application. I don't have a keyboard attached most of the time so if the application could read the button and change volume with the physical button or with Fn+F5-F6 it would be pretty well integrated with my setup. Maybe sync it with the Windows volume control? It would interfere with the desktop audio but everything gets piped through virtual cables anyways so the volume control doesn't actually do anything.

That should be a new option then, something like 'Synchronize desktop volume with devices'!?
I think it should sychronize only the devices that are 'Playing'.
Volume controls in the application should be disabled, or apply to the volume of the system.

Sure, sounds right.

Hey, I recently started using this application and it works great!

I'm wondering if desktop volume synchronization is still on the menu?
Better yet intercepting the volume change messages themselves so speaker or group volume can be changed while desktop audio stays muted (might need to get into Win32 API for that).

Thanks. There hasn't been any development on this feature, maybe in the future...
