There are various different jailbreaking tools out there, but very few for windows. This small executable (jailm8.exe) downloads pre-compiled builds of some of these tools. The app itself can run some of these tools, but other tools are a bit harder to incorporate, so there is an option to download them to the working directory and use them yourself.
- A windows 10 machine
- An iDevice
- A USB cable
- An active Wi-Fi connection
It is recommended to put jailm8.exe in a separate folder before you start. This will keep jailm8 from cluttering your other folders.
Throughout the app, it will ask you some yes or no questions. To say yes, simply type Y or y. To say no, type anything else. Typing nothing also counts as saying no.
