@SassDoc/owners What do you think of finding a cool name for major/minor releases? Kind of how Sass does.

Why not, but it will be a pain to find a name for each minor release IMO.

But to be consistent with the illustration it could be names about octopus and stuff…

We could even mix with adjectives and colors, for instance evil red octopus, or things like this. Could be fun.

Indeed!

Huge progress done here tonight. We got everything working fine, although @whyalix and I are not plain satisfied how what we've come up with so far. It looks okay, but it probably needs more work before having something really cool.

Stay tuned.

For anyone willing to have a look (no Windows, sorry):

$ gem install jekyll
$ git clone git@github.com:SassDoc/sassdoc.github.io && git checkout new-home
$ jekyll serve

The site is looks uber awesome!

Comments from @FWeinb:

the yellow is close to the one from Bower

I personally don't think it's a problem but we can discuss it.

the front side of the coffee cup feels wrong, probably too flat

The illustration still needs some adjustments anyway.

the pattern background from the first home section feels odd

It's the one from sass-lang.com, that I shamelessly borrowed. We need to fine something different, especially since they don't want us to use it.

@SassDoc/owners @whyalix What about putting the version number (with a link to changelog) on the home page?

Shiny asynchronous octopus for v2. Who's in?

Shiny streaming octopus maybe? I like both.

I'll look the website tonight.

Ouh, I like it. Makes more sense with the upcoming changes.

I made a lot of improvements to day. I think the biggest one has to be removing all the options from the Grunt, Gulp and Broccoli pages to link to the Configuration and Customising the view pages instead.

Current status: we need @whyalix to finish both the logo and the illustration. And as far as I know, she won't have time to work on this before next week (not this one).

Regarding the logo, I think we are heading in the right direction. Here are the latest version from @kaishin. I do like the right version.

Opinions?

I like the right version too.

Though I'm not sure about the sass font, even if it's already fine enough for me.
The /** is perfect IMO. 😺

It's starting to looks pretty cool. Thanks @kaishin !
I'm fine with both versions. Although I like the script version, the right one might be more readable.

I'm wondering whether the Sass propaganda squad might grind over the lack of Cap on the first "s" ;-)

The purple/pink color sheme is great.

Alright. Let's validate the right one since it pleases everybody. Now, we only need an inline version to be done with the logo (ping @kaishin).

@kaishin When you have a chance, could you send over the SVG version? No rush man. :)

Alright, PR pending: #106. We only need @whyalix to update the illustration to be alright.
