To do an official release of a binary on MacOS requires that the binary be signed by Apple. Otherwise it will not be runnable on a computer outside of the one it was built on. Go through the code signing process with an alpha release candidate and ensure it can run on another computer.

Considered validated by volunteers in the SuperCollider slack channel being able to run the downloaded binary.
