Yeah, I think the challenge is here is coming up with a simple UI/UX. Do you have any ideas?

So i think this would require a fairly big re-design of this dialogue.

Here's how it looks in Pro:

Perhaps we should take a similar approach and not have the start/stop input in the same popover, but rather have it in the edit dialogue.

How will we manage images, uploaded in batch mode? In single asset edit mode? (how it works now)

I'd say we skip the asset edit interface when we do batch uploads and simply assign the default properties to these. Then, the user can manually edit these.
