How can we reproduce the issue?

Script :

import org.openqa.selenium.WebDriver;
import org.openqa.selenium.ie.InternetExplorerDriver;

import io.github.bonigarcia.wdm.WebDriverManager;

public class IELaunchTest {

	public static void main(String[] args) {
		// TODO Auto-generated method stub
		WebDriverManager.iedriver().proxy("XXX.XXX.XXX.XX:80").arch32().setup();
		WebDriver driver = new InternetExplorerDriver();
		driver.get("https://www.google.co.in/");
		driver.manage().window().maximize();
		driver.quit();

	}

}

I can reproduce this with Java 4.1.3. However, given that IE is going away soon, I do not think we will troubleshoot this (also because we are very short on contributors these days). Can you please try to use the IE Mode in the new Edge and see if this works for you?

I was able to reproduce it because my IE settings were wrong, I adjusted them and now it works. Please check https://www.selenium.dev/documentation/ie_driver_server/
