Нужно делать проверку по уникальному полю, такому как domain. Пример:

if (!$object = $this->modx->getObject('sOneServerSite', ['domain' => $domain])) {

                $object = $this->modx->newObject('sOneServerSite');
                $object->set('domain', $domain);

            }
