When the sidenav is initially closed, it would be nice if it could auto hide when the user clicks outside of it.

Let's say a user opens the nav and it overlaps the content below. Then he figures he wants to do something else and clicks somewhere in the form below. Now the menu is still open and it needs another click to close it. By clicking in the form below it is obvious that the user is no longer interested in the menu, so an autoHide option would be useful.

I think that only makes sense if the initial state of the menu is open = false, but maybe it's the developer to decide whether or not he set an autoHide property.
