how do i make a textbox in the chartingState file that when you type in a number that number works in the playstate

i have an int value in the playState.hx file and i want to make it change when a number is typed in a textbox in the chartingState.hx file


i also want the number to change before the stage code and i want it to be apart of my charts
can you help me?
