Lightbox doesn't open in featured product until you hit Save

Describe the current behavior
I've noticed some issues with the featured product section on the homepage. The behaviour is not consistent, but one or more of the following things seem to be happening at random times:

• the lightbox (the enlarged image that's supposed to appear when you click a product image) doesn't open until you save the section
• deleting the featured product section doesn't seem to actually remove it from the page
• deleting the featured product section causes all variant images to load on the page at full size

Describe the expected behavior

• when adding a featured product, a user should be able to click the product image and see the enlarged version open in a modal before they insert the product or save the section
• when removing a featured product section, this should disappear from the page, along with the product images

The issue appears to have been recently introduced

• Dawn Version: 1.0.0
• Chrome Version 91.0.4472.114
• macOS Version 11.3.1
