The miner being called "Cheetah" and used for both coins is the root of the confusion, I think. Most people will assume the default branch(not being aware of different branches, most don't even know what git or version control is) is for Cheetahcoin.

Discord members @FcoLeonSalazar @sage-of-nothing raised the issue of confusion on this miner. Two branches on two coins and the name of Cheetah.

The solution is to merge two branches into one:
python main.py --coin chta --interval 10 --cpu 6
merging and upgrade of cheetah miner is quite important. Just for the sake of avoiding confusion, it is worth merging into one branch and one software only.
