The next step in the v2 hardfork is to migrate renterd to Sia's new "core" consensus (https://github.com/SiaFoundation/core). This removes the last dependency on legacy code, increases the syncing speed of nodes, and prepares renterd for the v2 hardfork.

This is a tracking issue for migrating renterd to core. Any other issues or PRs should be linked here.
