Im running mc 1.18.1 on fabric, with about 100 mods installed. Everything is up to date, i built the pack yesterday.

One issue im facing, seemingly with this mod, is appleskin sometimes reports food as being fully edible, when it is actually reduced. Most of the time it reports the nerfed value properly, but sometimes for some reason, it does not. It shows the food as being full but when eating it the food gives a reduced food/saturation value.

Like i said, it works most of the time, but every once in a while it "forgets" some of the foods ive eaten recently.

Same
the appleskin tooltip shows that the food is edible, although its properties have been exhausted

Hi, thanks for reporting this.

If you (talking to anyone reading this) find any way of reliably reproducing this, then I can try fixing it.
Right now, I'm completely unable to reproduce this in my development environment, which makes it practically impossible to fix this.

Also, does this only affect the AppleSkin HUD overlay, the item tooltips or both?
