Editing Root Templates for Pure MVC using power tools doesn`t work in sitefinity 6.2

The TemplateResolver for MVC templates produces Object Reference error when Pure MVC template has been modified with the resolver. The Object reference is thrown when the page using this template is viewed in the frontend.
