Seems like it has finally been detected #204
Comments
Probably afk-kick or you got reported by other player |
Its not an AFK kick, as ive implemented my own antiafk, and verified that it works. It is entirely possible that ive been reported by someone passing by, however as i said originally i find this very unlikely, as it was a time where the server had very few players, and in a deserted area. |
Are you able to log back in without issue? If it was detected everyone would be getting kicked. The program doesn't inject into the game so I feel it would be difficult for these developers to justify banning players for a program that runs in the background. I mean anything is possible but there is alot of people using this and only a handful of reports of people getting kicked. |
Im able to log in just fine. Did not get banned. Im aware it doesnt inject into the game, but if Amazon has done any bit of anticheat measures on their game, the most basic would be logging filenames and processes and checking them. its not exactly stealthy having a program called "fishing bot" running while your character has been fishing for the past 5 hours. Devs dont need to justify anything. They can terminate your account for any reason, at any time if they suspect anything. Its entirely possible that this kick was a random nutcase and wouldve happened even if it wasnt botting, or that i got reported, but i have been fishing manually for quite a while before and this has never happened. This was the longest ive ever run the bot since i started using it, and the first time ive gotten this kick. |
The use of the camera repositioning with B and the mouse input for repair would be a give-away for me. Especially is B is pressed or released after another button in a loop. And a common install location of the exe would be too. Just me using the images from resources folder may stand out now. I made my own too from another project I had for Apex Legends but found the resources fish hook and bobber worked better that my crops |
Can we look at the CMD code? |
by running it via CMD i mean im just running it in a python virtual environment |
I had the same problem the day before yesterday. the first thing I thought about was the bot, but it turned out that this was a problem with the Internet, literally after half an hour of panic I was able to log into the game without problems, after that I continued to use the bot - everything was OK. although there were small delays in fishing, it feels like because of the B button. I have to sit at work in team viewer and sometimes check, but in general it works fine. (translated using a translator, if something is wrong - it's his fault) |
I've been running it for several hours every day while I clean around the house and haven't had any issues. I'm using the compiled exe, I did rename it and change a couple config parameters. |
Ran it for 3 hours again today and it didnt seem to have any issues either. Its weird. Ill try running it for another 5 hours again tomorrow and see if i can replicate that kick. If not then i guess we can conclude it was most likely not related |
Id say this is unrelated, as OP mentioned, using alternative anti-afk measures as well as running it in cmd. Can hardly blame this when they are doing so many "other things on top of it: |
Not sure what you mean by "doing so many other things on top of it". Basically all i had running on my PC was New World and the Bot. Which is why this kick lead me to believe it was the bot, since my install is not corrupted. But ill test again tomorrow if i can replicate the kick. |
you said you had your own AFK module that you created your self, ontop of running your own compiled version in cmd intead of using the exe . |
Running it in a virtual python environment and running an EXE is not any different. The functionality is the same. Creating an anti-afk is not really difficult either, its very similar to the published EXE, i just made it before it was published here cause i didnt wanna wait. |
I'm on a fairly low pop server and ran it last night in a very hidden spot. I got the same message. Was able to log back in with no issues. |
I play in plain sight with a bunch of other fisherman and never been detected. One guy asked me if I was a bot I was watching and responded saying no. |
pretty sure you got reported. record your next afk session and play back the video |
Ran the bot anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours. I have no way of knowing, i was away from PC for 5 hours, and when i came back this was on screen. I have no other software running that would be detected as malicious.
Edit: Its worth noting: i did not use the EXE, i cloned the code and ran it via CMD. I also made my own anti AFK module before it was released to this github.
Weirdly enough i am not banned, even though the kick states it found "Suspicious Software"...
I would say use it at own risk? But then again, they dont seem to be banning for it. Maybe you gotta get kicked a certain amount of times for this "offense" before they ban you.
Edit2: Just wanted to mention also: I find it very unlikely that i got reported by somebody. I was fishing at a very unpopulated spot, and it was from 7am to 12pm on a monday. My server barely has anybody playing at those times.
