by default 'discovery' searched /Users/johns_iMac/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2015/SketchUp/tests and gave the WARNING: Not a valid directory:

I added the test folder into the testup folder and it was usable...

maybe it should be included as it gets you up and running quicker...

Ah, right. Yes, the tests are not located in the extension folder. The RBZ was generated quickly as a side-thought.
We somewhat assumed people would clone the GitHub repo and use the instructions in the README to load TestUp from the repo. This whole process needs to be looked into.

I have the repo, but I wanted to test the .rbz
There are people I would recommend it to that would never go as far as 'cloning a repo'
