Macos randomly goes back to booting screen while in use #56
Comments
I never had this issue (I'm on 12.4), therefore I don't think this is an EFI issue. I think this is a bug on Apple's side which they need to fix. There is also someone who has the same issue on 12.6: Link Also, could you send the whole log? I see something with Brightness on bottom right... |
Ill reply with the log the next time the crash occurs |
Also happened to me once about two weeks ago. Never happened again. Was in version 12.6 that time. Maybe the 12.6.1 update fixed it. |
I'll close this issue until there is an update. |

Ive had macos go back to the loading boot screen with the apple logo and the progress bar multiple times, it seems to happen when im using alot of ram and also seems to happen more when i have less ram in the system (16 vs 8 vs 4) so im assuming it has something to do with swap ? It also shows a windowserver crashed dialogue when i restart the system (which does fix it)
