[INFORMATION] Regarding 1.16+ and Fabric

Just relaying the info from our Discord here, for future reference.

EnderIO will not be released for 1.16.5, we are instead aiming for 1.18.2/1.19 1.20.1 . We don't have a big enough team available to maintain multiple versions of the mod, and just "backporting" it, won't be possible, due to all the changes in both Java and Forge in general.

As for fabric, we have no plans of porting to or supporting a fabric version. If anyone else wants to do this unofficially, they are welcome.

Release ETA's

We have no idea when EnderIO will be ready, as we're just a couple of volunteers doing this in our spare time. Once any sort of working build is available, you will find it on Curseforge. Until then, there is no "test", "alpha" or "beta" version available.

Building from this repo

While you are free to build/compile the code from this repo yourself, you are completely on your own. No support will be given. Bugs are definitely present and most of the time we do know about them. Things may also change between commits, so the chance of ending up with broken worlds or saves, is quite possible
