i use Terminal

curl -s https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/JonasGroeger/soundnode/script.deb.sh | sudo bash
sudo apt-get install soundnode

Can you try running the 7.0.0 release (Just run the executable in the tarball) and see if the issue is still present?
