Tag-based sound search

Think danbooru.donmai.us but with audio.
In case you forgot where you have stored the specific file in the folder, this would make searching easier.

1. Tagging files with references/source, mood/emotion, and usage
2. Searching item through tags
3. Tag search auto-complete for quicker soundboard launches

I would really like to add this feature, as we're probably going to use TagLib we could integrate the meta data of the files as tags (authors and such) additionally

TagLib for file format data is one thing, audio tagging through in-content characteristics is another.

I'm aware of this that's why I said that we would automatically add tags based on the meta data of the file that the user could also remove if he'd want to

For clarification, are there any methods that allow for comma lists in "miscellaneous" audio characteristics?

Yes I think libraries like Essentia could be used for this.
