Hi

Ever since I moved back to bungee within the last week my players have been plagued with bad packet, bad compressed data and Gzip random kick messages.

I read through a few of the issues from the past and I'm getting the same bad packet errors all the past reports have had.

I'm using spigot 1071 on all the servers in my network and bungeecord build: 610.

My player count peaks at around 800 daily.

Here is an example of one I got today: http://puu.sh/3Wwfs.png

Provide ways to reproduce. They are always reproducible

I have tried all sorts of bungeecord builds but I'm using bungeecord build 595 and spigot 1041 with 700+ players on usually. What other ways would you suggest I mention to reproduce the issue apart from using ubuntu and java 7.

I've now also switched to Oracle java, it is happening a lot less often but still happening.

@cuddylier with 700 players, many with mods its going to happen. I wouldn't worry about it unless its a vanilla server and client.

@fredghostkyle I thought that too, but it seems even people with vanilla clients are getting kicked, including myself. I'll watch the situation and see if it continues.

Just confirmed with quite a few players, they get kicked randomly around every 5-10 minutes with either bad packet errors or compressed data errors. The number one time they seem to get kicked is when they warp somewhere on the same server or are flying. (even without a modded client).

@cuddylier if its something like /warp or /fly check the plugin(s) that run thos commands. Ifs its essentials use a non dev build. and do you know the packet numbers?

Packet ID kicks:
packet id 196 (http://puu.sh/3Xima.png)
packet id 188 (http://puu.sh/3XisK.png) - just typed a command of a plugin and got kicked (command only plugin)
packet id 46 (http://puu.sh/3RtBd)
packet id 72 - Just building in a different server than the simplehelptickets one
GZIP format (http://puu.sh/3XjlW.png) - Using command from simplehelptickets
String (http://puu.sh/3XjF9.png) - When teleporting to another player using /tp (essentials isn't the issue)
packet id 75 (http://puu.sh/3XjHr.png) - Standing still
String 2 (http://puu.sh/3XjXc.png) - Standing still and also /suicide

for 188 whats the plugin?

@cuddylier

@fredghostkyle Simplehelptickets, but it never did this on lilypad, which was like 2 weeks ago. This plugin is only available for admins, a lot more than admins are being kicked.

check the dev. of that plugin. and how did you get the other bad packets? like you typed a command or did you hit a duck?

@cuddylier

@fredghostkyle I've added a few more packet ids to my list above, the majority are when the user is typing no commands and just e.g. walking around or building in ANY server whatsoever.

@cuddylier well. at this point of time, if you check http://ci.md-5.net/view/Elastic%20Portal%20Suite/job/BungeeCord/ the Last stable build is #621 (bungee)
and at http://ci.md-5.net/job/Spigot/ the last stable build is #1079 (spigot)

try updating them and for getting kicked because of command try updating/downgrading the plugin versions.

@fredghostkyle I'm currently on build #621 of bungeecord and I already tried spigot build #1079 with no luck at all. As for the simplehelptickets plugin it is perfectly fine when not being used on bungeecord so why would it act up with bungeecord? Although the main issue is the packet ids when the simplehelptickets plugin isn't being used.

We got users with this issue 3 times in 2 days in #minecrafthelp

This is a paste that we made from one user. It includes a full Wireshark capture, a screenshot and a dxdiag. That occured on mineplex.com, but we got 2 reports from hypixel.

http://paste.ubuntu.com/10419174/

The problem occurred when warping from a server to the lobby, sometimes it had to be done 2 times

We don't support either of those two networks as they use custom hacked together versions of our software.
