Two ways to edit parameters

There is a situation now, when user can edit some parameter (e.g. pot size) directily or by applying an action (repotting). It's unclear for now, which way to use.

Ways to resolve this issue:

1. Make direct editing of parameters not always available, but only some period of time after creating, and then block it.
2. Create sort of admin mode, when direct editing is possible.
3. May be there is other ways..
