Environment:
OS - Windows 10 Home
BeatDrop Version - 2.5.8

Description of bug:
Originally reported in #55 , reopening since the bug still exists and affecting users.
Sometimes while attempting to search for a beatmap, the search will start but never finish. Restarting the program does not clear the issue. Current known workaround is to "Reset everything" in the settings menu.

Steps to reproduce:
There are currently no known steps to reproduce the bug. Please comment below if you have an idea of what could be causing the issue.

Expected behavior:
Search results are supposed to show up, or there should be some indication of an error if one occurs (and the program needs to recover from it).

Actual Behavior
Search is stuck loading. Restarting the program does not clear the issue. Current known workaround is to "Reset everything" in the settings menu.

I've got the same problem in version 2.5.9
My last search before beat drops search stopped working was "Pokémon original theme"
May the accent (é) be the cause ?

However, I don't find the "reset everything" in the settings menu mentioned in the op.

It would appear that "reset" option is no longer in the settings menu.
Another workaround mentioned in #55 is to change your songs folder location in settings to somewhere random. The program will crash and should allow you to reset.

Having the same problem. I have reset the program 3 times and it's still stuck loading. (Is there an alternative download program in the meantime?)
