Adoring Fan Disappears from Crew List

The Adoring Fan will randomly disappear from the crew list. Using console commands does not work, as their dialogue is bugged. Loading a previous save with the companion present also does not work, as they still will be missing from the crew list.

I also seem to have lost most of my crew assigned to my active ship.
Heller, Lyle, Simeon, Gideon all gone from ship and list.
Sam, Barrett, and Cora still present on the ship and list.

I did encounter a problem with a mod that caused looping fall trough the ship, and that was the last time I recall seeing them (they fell too). After forced-quit and reloading an older save and removing the offending mod component (JinSoon's Door Placement : Forced doors), the falling stopped and I think I recall Heller talking to me in the cockpit seat (not 100%) so that may not have been the trigger.

I found Gideon back in the Viewport Lounge. He won't interact in any way.

Had this happen, but in my case he was my companion when it happened, and I can't dismiss him. I can add a second companion, additional companion + Adoring Fan, but when I try to dismiss him nothing happens, the dialog stays up and doesn't chance to the "see you around/I'll be waiting for you" dialog. I didn't notice this until I tried to switch companions, so I have no idea when this started happening, as I have had A.F. as my companion for some time. Any idea if there is a console command the reset the Adoring Fan "quest"?
