Gideon Aker does not have unlimited ammunition like other followers.

Details

Unless specifically changed in the ini file, typically all NPC followers have unlimited ammunition and throwable items providing they have at least one in their inventory. Gideon Aker however will consume any ammunition and throwable items the player gives him.

Reproduction Steps

Hire Gideon Aker at the Viewport in New Atlantis, give him any gun and ammunition for it. Enter combat and check his ammunition count after.

Gideon is missing the following keyword;
TeammateDontUseAmmoKeyword [KYWD:0023F1CA] (along with Artifact_GravImmune [KYWD:0012B50D] I should add)
